Jostens, one of the oldest and most successful providers of yearbooks, class rings, and graduation caps and gowns also presents educational seminars for those yearbook staff students who want to increase their knowledge and skills in preparation of a possible career in either editing or publishing.

Seminars around the country are operated by Jostens' independent Yearbook Educationrepresentatives. And the BAYS (Bay Area Yearbook Seminar) is held at a different location each year, offering a convenient access to those who live in the San Francisco, East Bay and South Bay areas. Each summer the siminar is held at either a college (i.e. Saint Mary's) or a University (i.e. Stanford), whereby the participants attend their various classes during the day, enjoy three delicious meals in the campus cafeteria, join in the fun and games during the evenings, and sleep over in the student dorms at night.

BAYS is one of the most prestigious of all the seminars. Extensive, detailed preparation and planning goes into each year's seminar in order so that all participants may derive a gratifying experience.

Check out the web site by clicking on the thumbnail to the left. You will be taken to a quick Flash introduction that the students love. You may either skip the introduction or watch it - either way you will end up at the BAYS 2009 site.
